The IR Curing Oven is a sophisticated thermal processing device which employs electromagnetic radiations (0.7 to 10⁻¹) to rapidly heat, dry, or cure the coating, adhesives and inks without heating the ambient air significantly. It provides the process with fast and energy-saving curing with direct transfer of heat to the material surface, resulting in the homogeneous temperature distribution and minimised processing time. Electronics, automotive and manufacturing industries are the main applications of the system in paint finishing, powder coating and PCB conformal coating. IR ovens are efficient in production, save energy and provide a consistent quality cure even in complex parts. Their small size and accuracy in temperature regulation make them fit for continuous production lines and batch processes.
The high-end models include variable IR power, conveyor speed, multi-zone heating and digital temperature options, providing a more accurate control of the process, resulting in a minimum amount of thermal stress and better adhesion and wearability of the coating.
