SCH-PC101-18 is a single-component conformal coating of acrylic, an energy-saving conformal coating, which is aimed at coating printed circuit boards (PCBs) and other electronic components to protect against harsh environments. This is an 18-grade formulation which is a balanced-viscosity formulation which is applicable in both spray and dip coating with a homogenous coverage. It is a permanent, easy-to-clean, rubbery protective coating that protects components against moisture, dust, chemicals, corrosion and fungi. The coating provides good dielectric insulation and thus increases the reliability and life of the fragile electronics. SCH-PC101-18 is a fast-drying material with excellent bonding properties to diverse substrates and, therefore, can be used in the automotive, aerospace, telecommunications and consumer electronics industries.
It is also highly transparent; therefore, it can be applied in LED applications without any effect on its light output.
